You run a trades company, and it runs on software — your website, your quoting, your scheduling, and everything in between. The software experience you've been getting is crap. We're here to fix it.
Tech for Trades builds and integrates the software behind owner-operated trades companies looking to grow.
"Whatever you're doing is working. The last two weeks have been absolutely crazy with calls, and a ton of them are for water heaters."
Plumber, Colorado Springs, ColoradoTwo weeks after we rebuilt their website from the ground up"I've got one guy for my website, one for ads, another for invoicing, and none of them talk to each other. I get to be the middle man."Plumber
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Now they only have to talk to one guy.
"I spent a bunch of money on ads, hoping it would bring in quality leads. Maybe it did? Who knows!"Window & Door Business
Boyds, MD
Now they can measure their return on ad spend.
"I feel like I need to conform my whole business to the way my field management software wants me to run it. When I don't like how something works, I just have to deal with it."Electrician

Now they run on custom software we designed together.
"I keep getting random cold calls from people telling me they can build me a better website. It's super annoying."Residential Designer

Now they ignore those calls with confidence.
You've been burned by tech people before, so here's our deal: if you're not happy, we're not happy. Say the word and we'll stop billing until you see results.
We spend the first month learning as much as we can about your business and figuring out which changes to your tech are actually worth making. At no cost, you finish the month with:
The goal with the first month is to learn from each other and show you the art of the possible with software in 2026.
Then we typically partner one of two ways →
We scope one project at a time, quote you a fixed price, then build and maintain it for you.
A dedicated partner to take over management of your existing software and building out the full roadmap — with every subscription cost included: website hosting, field management software, AI spend, all of it. Month-to-month, cancel with 30 days' notice.

I grew up working in my dad's cabinet shop. Started out sweeping and eventually made it to running the CNC and building cabinet boxes until we moved into remodeling. Eventually I made my way into software development working for the trucking industry, real estate, and identity protection industries. After ten years as a software developer I find myself back toward my roots in the trades.
Software has always been about building things for me. Now I want to take this skill and bring it to the trades. So software can finally start listening to the trades and what they need to get it done.

My dad was a carpenter. My brothers run plumbing, electrical, and residential design businesses. I was the nerd who went into data instead. I've spent the last decade building AI systems for companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 500.
Tech for Trades is where these two worlds finally come together for me. I'm not interested in trying to sell you a fancy new tool you'll use once and forget about. I've spent my career learning how to build technology that is actually useful, and I'm excited to be taking those learnings to companies I want to help grow.
